ASHTANGA YOGA STANDING SEQUENCE - A 40 minute Ashtanga class great for beginners and more advanced

Join me for this 40 minute Standing Sequence of Ashtanga Yoga, we run thru the first half of the primary series, then on to a short closing sequence. This Yoga Class is great for those new to Ashtanga Yoga as I offer many modifications to some of the more dificult posses of the Primary series, and we take it a bit slower. More advanced students will enjoy it as aswell if your short on time.

ASHTANGA YOGA 2ND SERIES TIME LAPSE - With Justin

Hey Everyone, Check out Justin doing is 2nd Series morning Ashtanga Yoga Practice! The Ashtanga Yoga 2nd Series is known as Nadi Shodona or nerve cleansing. By opening and cleaning the nadis (energy channels), we also open the functioning of our chakras. The poses (comprising of deep backbends, twists, leg-over-head poses and arm balances) open the internal energy channels and enable prana to flow more freely throughout the body. Kundalini is stored at the base of our spine deep in our hips and our central energy channel (the shushumna) runs along the spinal cord. The deep hip openers and backbends of the Intermediate Series release the kundalini force and pushes it up the shoshumna so it circulates into the entire system. We are cleaning, letting go, and healing when we practice the 2nd series as well as sweating LOL ; ) It's no easy practice that's for sure!! 15 MINUTE ASHTANGA YOGA SEQUENCE - All Levels, daily minimum

Hey friends! Join me for this all levels 15 minute Ashtanga Yoga daily minimum. This is a great traditional sequence to practice when you are short on time but can fit in just 15 minutes for yourself. We do 3 Sun Salutations A, 3 Sun Salutations B and the final 3 poses of the primary series. You will stretch, strengthen, lengthen and breathe thru this practice feeling incredibly at peace afterwards! This would make a perfect early morning yoga routine before work, great on your lunch break or even good before you settle down to make dinner. Hope you enjoy it!

30 MINUTE ASHTANGA YOGA SEQUENCE - Intermediate level

Hey Guys! Thanks so much for joining me again, this is a great 30 minute Ashtanga Yoga Sequence, a full body workout, we skip around a bit and touch on some standing postures, some seated and a mostly full closing sequence. This class is best if you have some expirence with vinyasa flow or Ashtanga but as always do what you can and listen to your body if anything is too much for you feel free to back out of any pose.

ASHTANGA YOGA TIME LAPSE - Summer time Yoga on the porch with a toddler

Hey! Join me thru my typical Ashtanga Yoga morning practice, I don't always practice on the deck, but it sure is a treat when I do! I'm loving the hydrangea eye candy this time of year! This is the fist half of the 2nd Series of Ashtanga Yoga. Some mornings are tighter then others as you may or may not notice this is one of those mornings LOL so I cut out a little early! I sped it up pretty fast, you can even see Lucie our cat prancing around, and Calla our daughter loving her up and playing with her trucks!

20 MINUTE ASHTANGA YOGA SEQUENCE - All Levels, full body workout

Hey Everyone, This is a Short and Simple 20 minute Ashtanga Yoga Class. Perfect for when you want to get in a full body workout with some meditative breath but only have 20 minutes to spare. This Ashtanga yoga class is easily accessible to beginners, we start with Sun Salutations, move thru the first two Forward folds, (Padangusthasana, Padahastasana) Triangle pose, (Trikonasana), Pyrmaid pose, (Parsvottanasana), and on to seated poses including Staff pose (Dandasana), Head to Knee pose, (Janusirsasana A), Wheel Pose, (Urdhva Dhanurasana) Padmasana with Janu Mudra, and finally, Final rest pose (Shavasana). This class is great if you have never practiced Ashtanga Yoga before, we go slow enough you will not feel overwhelmed. Grab a block if you like to use one and join me!
